Terms of Service.

2. Pricing, trial, renewal, cancellation

These prices apply to new purchases. Existing subscriptions and purchases retain their agreed price and access terms.

• 3-Day Pass: US $4.99 (or then-current price) unlocks downloads of your finished PDFs for 3 days from purchase and includes 150 Ask Papi credits that expire with that 72-hour access period.
• Pro subscription: US $15 per month (or then-current price), billed in advance through Stripe, with 2,000 Ask Papi credits per paid subscription month.
• Annual Pro: US $120 per year (or then-current price), billed in advance through Stripe. Includes 2,000 Ask Papi credits each month, replenished from your subscription anniversary rather than granted all upfront.
• New subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial. A valid card is required to start the trial; cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
• Subscriptions renew according to the selected plan: monthly for Pro and annually for Annual Pro. Cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.

Ask Papi credits

Ask Papi requires sign-in. A verified account receives 20 introductory credits once, with no time expiry or refill. Any subscription trial shares this same allowance; it does not receive a second grant. Paid subscription credits begin only after payment is confirmed. Subscription credits replenish monthly and unused credits expire at the next reset; they do not roll over. There are no automatic overage charges. Cancellation preserves current credits until their scheduled expiry and stops future grants after paid access ends.

A credit is an AI usage unit, not cash or a guaranteed edit: one credit represents $0.001 of standardized peak-rate AI consumption. Consumption varies by request, with fractional usage accumulated across its AI calls. Valid AI responses, including analysis, clarification and work consumed before you cancel, use credits. Manual editing and native Undo/Redo do not; asking the AI to undo can use credits. AI calls that fail because of provider or network errors are not charged to your balance. Credit-rate changes will be disclosed.

Running out of credits does not remove manual editing, documents, history or already-paid download access. Starting a paid subscription preserves unexpired pass credits. Switching monthly to annual billing preserves your current balance and next reset without an extra immediate grant. Existing subscribers receive the same monthly allowance at their existing subscription price, prospectively without backfill. An active legacy pass receives 150 credits through its existing expiry. For an incorrect result or suspected incorrect credit usage, contact team@pdfpapi.com; adjustments are reviewed rather than automatically refunded.

3. Refunds

If you believe a purchase was made in error or the service did not work as described, contact team@pdfpapi.com within 14 days of purchase. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. A full refund of a document purchase removes that document’s paid access. Partial refunds do not automatically change access. A subscription refund does not itself cancel your subscription; subscription access follows its current status and cancellation date.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you process and the accuracy of the email and payment details you provide. You agree not to use the service unlawfully.

5. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFPapi and K. M. FISHER SYSTEMS LLC are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; for paid purchases our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
